The objective and direction of our firm is to continue to develop a high quality financial planning firm, offering clients the benefit of our experience and expertise, combined with a fair, genuine hourly rate fee for service structure. We are able to do this because of the way we have structured our business. We own our head office premises in Taringa, Queensland. All regional offices are in association with Chartered or CPA accounting firms. This enables us to operate on a genuine fee for service basis, and importantly, we do not need to charge for costly, and possibly unnecessary on-going portfolio monitoring fees. The firm will always remain a boutique advisory firm, with a maximum of three advisers in each state. In my view this is the only way to ensure the highest quality of advice is maintained. The other benefit is to retain a personalised service for our clients. One of the more notable observations of the financial planning industry, after more than 20 years of experience, is how many situations which, at face value, appeared structured in an acceptable manner, may be significantly enhanced.
